HandMen’s role
What work does HandMen perform?
None. HandMen handles online marketing, lead generation, initial classification and referral of customer requests.
Is HandMen my contractor for the work?
No. The work contract is solely with the independent provider.
Quotation, invoice and payment
Who issues the quote?
The independent provider issues and is responsible for its own quotation.
Who do I pay?
Payment for the work is made solely to the provider against its invoice.
Can HandMen receive a fee?
HandMen may receive a marketing or referral fee from the provider. Your work contract remains solely with the provider.
Sharing the request
Is my request distributed immediately to unknown businesses?
No. It initially goes to HandMen. HandMen names the proposed provider and obtains your consent before sharing.
Must the partner list be public?
No. The specific proposed provider is, however, disclosed before data sharing and before any contract.
Performance and responsibility
Who agrees scope and date?
You agree scope, price, materials, travel and date directly with the provider.
Who is liable for defects?
Warranty, rectification, insurance and liability for the work lie with the provider.
Who performs regulated work?
Only a provider that has submitted evidence of the required authorisation for the specific activity.
Referral area
From which locations can I request a referral?
HandMen assesses requests from Wiesbaden, Idstein and many Rhine-Main locations.
Is a provider guaranteed?
No. A request creates no entitlement to a provider, price or date.
