3. Activity and HandMen’s role

Online marketing, lead generation and referral of customer enquiries to independent service providers and trade businesses; HandMen does not perform skilled-trade or other on-site work itself.

The contract for the work is concluded solely between the customer and the independent provider. That provider issues its own quote and invoice, receives payment and is responsible for performance, personnel, materials, warranty, rectification, insurance and liability for the work. HandMen’s statutory liability for its own referral activity remains unaffected.

For regulated work, HandMen refers only providers that submit evidence of the required authorisation for the specific activity. No public partner list is maintained; the proposed provider is named to the customer before personal data is shared and before any contract. HandMen may receive a marketing or referral fee from the provider.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
